As a professional photographer whose specialty is Senior Portraits, I have prepared this guide to help you be better informed about the senior portrait process and help you make a wise investment.


Please remember this guide's most important messages:
1). Your school's contracted photographer must take ONLY your yearbook picture. Your real senior pictures are your choice.
2). A senior portrait is a once in a lifetime experience. A MAJOR milestone. Expect personalized service from the studio you select! Make this a positive experience!
3). Review samples of work from a studio either on their web site or at a no obligation visit to the studio before selecting a photographer.


Here is a list of the most common questions we are asked when discussing senior portraits with parents:

Q. When should you schedule the senior portrait session?
A. Don't wait until your senior year! Deadlines for submitting yearbook pictures are always in the fall, so most seniors are photographed in the spring before the senior year. We get calls from seniors from local high schools asking to be photographed in July and August. Because of the personal attention we give each of our seniors, there are only a limited number of sessions times available. We offer "early booking" promotions to encourage students to schedule their appointment early!

Q. Why do so many seniors choose Andrews-Photography for their senior portraits?
A. Quality, creativity, reliability, experience, professionalism, service, variety, beautiful headshots, black and white photography, sepia toned images, color tints, etc. etc... After selecting your portraits, we will have your finished prints ready in about 4-6 weeks... ready to start enjoying!

Q. How much should I expect to spend?
A. Pricing is important in everything we purchase, but if you choose a photographer who takes mediocre pictures, any money spent is wasted. Don't let this happen to you! What do dogs dream about, maybe a bone but for sure someone to love them and invite them into there home. They provide so much for each one of us and we have them for so short a time. Love them give them a scratch now and again. How will you remember them as they were. They may do a trick or two, but a look a head tilt that's what they do. That's what pulls our heart strings and makes us love them even more.

We just had to add this video of the most recent first year photo shoot we did for Nolan. Portraits of kids eating cake doesn't get any easier than this. He was a natural at eating cake and having a good time. Must take after his dad, mom was worried about him getting messy.

Andrews Photography Covers Nolans First Birthday. Nolan was soo cool he picked up his big glasses with the fake nose. Its pretty cool what you can buy for a buck! Nolan said the cake was good and his dog maybe could have some next year. Andrews Photography did a short video clip too. Take a moment and try to remember your first birthday cake...hmm, maybe you should have had a few photos of the event to jog the old brain. When you only go around one time in this life wouldn't it be nice to be able to relive the happy moments again and again. Babies and kids do the coolest things and you never know what your in for but one things certain enjoy the ride. Nolan is, check out his yellow ride nothing makes him smile like cruisin in his car.

Relationship Dog and pet photography in Saint Paul . Andrews Photography photographs a wold class chihuahua name Fausto. He was just a super dog to work with. Warmed right up to the camera and was himself. Its nice when the owners just let the dogs do there thing.
