My Girl, Though it was time to post some of my GirlFriend

Nyssa, thanks for posing for me. We only had a few minutes to snap off a few photos before she was off to work. Cool blue background just had to pull it out for her. We tried out the new yellow background too.

We had a chance to take Photos of Sasha a High School Senior from North High. Only one hiccup to the session, she forgot her favorite red Jacket. Dad to the rescue he must have been in a jet car or something he only took 15 minutes to get here. Dominoes eat your heart out. We shot some on the way back to the studio and finished up in studio. Rod tried something new at the end of the session and it turned out to be Sashas favorite. See the sepia hard edge light photo. Very bold and dynamic look.

How does your High School Senior see her or himself? Much of the session is determined in the attitude of the senior as the arrive. Sasha commented during the first 15 minutes of the session that this wasn't what she expected. She though it was going to be, hey just take a seat here do this smile, your done. Lots of smiles and comments on wow Rods a bit goofy followed. Glad she had fun that's what the experience is all about. Be prepared come happy and well do the rest.

Saint Paul Farmers Market and Balloon Fun

Some personal work just walking around trying out new things and came upon this Balloon Arch at the Farmers Market in Saint Paul. Just up the street from were I live in the Tilsner Building.

Andrews Photography a 10 minute headshot for Singer / Song Writer Aram "AJ"

A local Singer Aram or "AJ" was in need of some head shots for one of his auditions. This guy tried out for American Idol. He met the performers to Kooza at Elbario in Saint Paul. Hung out with the Newkids on the block when they were in town at Mickeys dinner. The man is out their having the time of his life. Sings with two local bands and has time for Mass every Sunday. Sometimes he even has time to return a call.

He said, "Rod just a quick headshot please." this is what he got 10 minutes later.
One thing though if your doing a 10 minute shoot, don't be late. Oh ya he over slept, good thing We have plenty to do while waiting for sleepy head. We think he figured.... since I don't have to do my hair?
